It has been a rough couple of days....
When Marianna wakes up crying at night or in the morning, it usually means somethings wrong. Well, Saturday morning she woke up screaming and things went downhill from there. She just "wasn't herself". However, there was no runny nose, cough, or anything...Hmmmm. Maybe a food allergy?? Oh, no. Just as I was on my way out Monday morning to take DJ to get his wisdom tooth out (another story..) Marianna woke up with a very, very high temperature 102-103! She cried all day Monday and all day Tuesday. She didn't even respond to some of her favorite activities...
Playing in the pool..
Climbing on and off chairs...
Discovering her shadow...
A drink from the pool...
The sprinkler...
A carpet picnic and Barney video...
Well, she liked the Barney video a little...
Today, is the first day that she seems to back to herself. No temperature, just a little rash on the trunk of her body. We are still quarantined here today, but I am so happy to get some Marianna smiles back to my day!
Back to business as usual in the playroom.
Pooh getting a ride in the rocking chair...
And her latest and greatest activity is taking care of baby. Here she is giving baby a bottle...
(she actually makes slurping noises too like baby is drinking...super cute!!)
Baby gets a kiss (a big, wet, open mouthed kiss with tongue!!!) and a rock-a-bye!
I would say she is definitely over the hump and on the mend!!

So Fresh and So Clean!
Marianna got her second haircut today at Carnival Cuts. I am happy to be able to see her eyes again! Oh, and the screaming and crocodile tears were there through the entire cut until she got a sucker...which she loved!!
Here she is going to into her house/bathroom. Marianna likes to have her privacy sometimes in the house if you know what i mean :) No camera's please!

Major Sprinkler Fun
Our big sprinklers came on this weekend and it didn't take Marianna long to figure out how to get soaking wet. I just thought these were funny in the moment.
Parallel Playdate
Marianna had quite the little girls day on Friday. Yia-Yia brought her cousin Diana over to see her in the morning to play. Then, Kaitlyn and Sara came over for some lunch and playroom fun. Later, Grandma and Grandpa took Marianna out to Beau Jacks for dinner! What a day!!
Marianna and Kaitlyn are only a couple weeks apart in age. I love to document their times spent together when they are this young because I know I will get to bring these pictures out later in life to show their long friendship! How special friendship can be!!
Thanks, Kaitlyn for coming over to hang out!! We love to see you!!

Jake's House...House of Fun!
Today, we headed over and inside to our friend, Jennifer's house for a play date. I had heard the rumors about what an awesome playroom/basement they had, but I had no idea it was going to be this much fun!!
Marianna had a blast today! Here she is in the inflatable jumping house...
The very cool kiddie "roller coaster"... I so wish we had this at home!
Brady and Marianna had a lot of fun with the all the balls...we had a lot of cleanup to do!
They also had this really cool bus that had a ton of different activities for the kids!
Marianna will love you forever if you feed her...anything...but especially banana! Thanks, Therese and Brady for sharing :)
