Happy Four Months, Daniella!

I am finally back from a long, but fun, week in Chicago. Abbott put us up at the Palmer House Hilton for a week (thanks, Uncle Abbott!) and it was actually a very nice getaway. Minus being sick and having to leave Daniella who had RSV (found out an hour and a half before leaving for the airport!), I loved being able to spend time with Frankie and her beautiful twin boys in Chicago, a fun night out with Cari and Sarah getting sushi at Bobsan (like old times...), a wonderful massage on Wednesday night, and some great dinners with my job share partner, Julie...(Oh, yeah...and work meetings in between...). The trip was one of the best but it is so nice to be home, and healthy, again!

I love this little tray I got for the bumbo and so does Daniella! We have been spending a lot of time her lately playing with toys...and the dreaded tummy time. Is she actually smiling??

This morning, we tried some Rice Cereal for the first time. Unlike Marianna, Daniella loved it! She did such a great job and now the fun begins...

The differences between the two never ceases to amaze me. (I will have to post Marianna's first cereal feeding on the next post!). Marianna even fed her some spoonfuls.

Marianna's special present from Chicago was this really cute bunny robe from American Girl and a Robot. (does that sound weird to anyone else?). She loves both!

"The party don't start 'till I walk in.....". Dancing to her favorite song: Tik Tok. (Not so great last night when we brushed her teeth and she wanted a bottle of Jack. Hmmmm...)

A treat...

And Daniella's special present from Chicago...wooden beads! They are actually super cool and I loved playing with them, too! They are new from Manhattan toy and they are all joined together and move.

Sitting pretty in her Boppy...this is a new thing. Yeah, Daniella!
