Mariannna and I had a great mommy-daughter birthday day. After playing with her new presents we went to goldfish, the mall (she loves to go see the "water balls" and PBK store), lunched at McDonald's, went to Party City to pick out some birthday balloons (Thomas and Percy...shocker!), a trip to Yia Yia and Papous and then Katie, Grace and Mary came over to play before her nap. What a packed day!
When she woke up from the nap, I promised her she could play in the pool and use the new bubble machine...
Thank you Karen for this wonderful doll, Marianna loves it! It makes sucking and crying noises just like a real baby. As you can see, she is practicing for her little sister in November!
Then Grandma and Grandpa came over with more balloons (Marianna's favorite colors: Green and White, thank you very much :) and her new bouncy house!

My fantastic idea to put the slide in the pool. She loved it but DJ hated it!

Well, I never read directions and learned the day of her party, this was not quite set up right. Nevertheless, Marianna had a great time jumping in it on her birthday!
This was celebration #2, so we celebrated with a small Dora cake that Marianna picked out. Grandma and Grandpa encouraging her to stick her fingers in the frosting just like my Grandpa used to do with me!!

What a great day!! She kept telling me that day it was the best birthday ever! (out of the 2 she has had...ha, ha!!!)
