Pumpkin Carving

Since it is Halloween today, Marianna and I used this morning to carve our pumpkins in order to have some decor for the many, many trick-or-treaters that Georgetown neighborhood gets. Well, unfortunately, both my camera and video camera were out of juice and I only captured a few seconds of the pumpkin carving from this morning. Marianna loved using the spoon to stir the pumpkin insides in the bowl. (I think she thought we were cooking...) Despite ending up with the ugliest pumpkins known to man (who knew pumpkin carving is a lost art?), we had a lot of fun!

Zoo Boo

Tonight was our first Halloween festivity...The Detroit Zoo Boo!


Marinna was a 50's girl and she looked adorable!

We met the Everly's at Pascual's before the event at the Detroit Zoo. The fun started with the balloon she got...

Mary was so cute as a bumble bee!


Marianna is just starting to color and it helps to pass the time...

Grace was not ready to put on her peacock costume yet...

Notice the 3 glasses of water with each kid dipping the spoon in their respective glass...this passed a lot of time!!

It was on to the trick or treating!

Marianna preferred to walk and did such a great job accepting her treats in the little pumpkin basket!!

Even though the weather was cold and rainy, we still had a lot of fun!

The highlight was the hay maze! Marianna could have spent an hour running through this with the other kids!

We had an awesome time and look forward to the Zoo Boo again next year!!

Playdate at Enzo's

Today was our other playgroup at Kendra's house. Usually, it is Marianna with the boys, but today it was Enzo with all the ladies! We had a fun day...

Fall Leaves Us Happy

Since Marianna needed an evening bath anyway, we raked up a pile of leaves for Ms. Nature Girl to play in. Do the pictures express the amount of fun this brought to Marianna's afternoon??

I love Marianna's smile. I think it lights up a room! I have noticed lately in taking pictures of her that all of her molars are now in. We are just 4 teeth short of a full set! Here we are "winding down" after a super fun weekend. Check out those pearly whites!!
