Big Ten Girl

On Sunday, we were watching State play basketball on the Big Ten Network (we are so glad to have it finally!!). Every time they played this commercial, Marianna went into a trance...and then a dance. What you don't see is her melting down to play it "more...more...more...". Needless to say, we probably watched it about 5o times that night!

Marianna and her own Christmas Tree!

With Thanksgiving being right around the corner, I decided why not pull out some of Christmas decorations so we can start enjoying them? One of the first things to get pulled out was the little (pre-decorated--i am not that much of a nut...) Christmas tree for Marianna. Eventually, it will go in the playroom for her but after we get a little practice playing nice with it.

Needless to say, she has been going crazy over the tree. We are constantly going into the room to look at the lights and to touch the "balls" on the tree. Have you noticed how EVERYTHING gets hugs and kisses that is inanimate??

What a treat! After I woke up from my nap there was a lot of snow to go sledding in!! Here is a picture of me and Mommy (finally...) having some fun in the snow.

17 Months

I don't have much to post this week...all of our new activites are keeping us pretty busy and I have a lot of work on my plate. However, here are some pictures of Marianna on her 17 Month birthday with Grandpa and some pictures that I took today in the playroom.


Marianna is giving kisses to anything and everything...even her own reflection!!

Baby gets walked several times a day in our house...around and around she goes!

More Leaves...

Here are our pumpkins that we carved on Halloween day... I like to think the State pumpkin brought the extra luck to the Sparty's on Saturday! We got a lot of comments from the trick or treaters!

As you can see, the MSU pumpkin got a special kiss from Marianna!

Marianna loves when the school bus comes down the street...It might be the best part of her day! We make sure to be outside in the afternoon so we can spot the bus, watch all the kids pile off of it, and watch it drive away and wave bye-bye.

One last time in the leaves... Marianna loves playing outside and I try to let her while we still have them and this awesome weather!! She loves to pick up the leaves and throw them in the air or just put them on her head!

Not before long though it was on to the next activity...running!
