Well..that was the plan...and then it took on a life of it's own.
For Christmas, Marianna got some finger paints and has been asking to play with the "paints" whenever I open the pantry. Today was all about fun in the Becharas house. Since the cable was out....we danced to Sesame Street Live (video to come...), colored, stamped, played with play dough, and got to try the finger paints for the first time.
Needless to say, making a mess with your hands is always a good time. Here are some pictures from our Valentines Day festivities...

Superbowl...Super Party!
Mike and Theresa Rushwin had a great Superbowl party! I only had my camera out for a little bit because there was so much chaos in the playroom with all the kids. Luckily, Marianna thrives in this atmosphere and had a blast.
Like A Fish To Water...
Daddy came today to Marianna's swimming lesson and boy did she show off!! Marianna loves her goldfish swimming class and we are so excited to take what she has learned to California in March!

When Elmo Grows Up...Sesame Street Live
Here we are...just about to walk out the door to the biggest night of Marianna's life so far....to see Elmo...LIVE!! She was super excited!

Since we got there a bit early, it gave us a lot of time to see the "lions"...Marianna loved looking at these!

Marianna recognizes the Sesame Street logo wherever she goes...

Elmo got hugs and kisses...I think this is what she thought she was there to see at first...she kept going back to him.

Almost ready to start..
When all the characters came out...Marianna started screaming "YEAH" and would call out the name of every characters she recognized. (The people in front of us got a kick out of this!) It literally brought tears to my eyes to see her excitement. She clapped and kicked her feet as she sat on my lap and kept screaming "Yeah!"

This is how she sat almost the entire time...She did a great job!
When it was done and the characters were saying goodbye, Marianna kept saying and doing the sign for More...it was hilarious!
What a great night! After we got home, Marianna couldn't wait to play with her "friends" (...I think these Sesame Street figurines are the new princesses). Also, she thinks the program is a book and insisted that we read it before bed!
