Suprise! It's Your Bithday, Dad!

We decided to give dad his own day since his birthday falls on New Years Eve and we knew we would be super busy getting ready to celebrate with friends.  So, while he was out with his brother, we made our "happy birthday Dad" banner and decorated and made a brownie cake so we could take him by suprise when he came home.  Misson Accomplished.  He was surprised!

That Time of Year

Marianna has been sick and quarantined in our house for almost a week!  Today was the first day that we got everyone up and out of the house to go to Build A Bear at the mall for their Xmas bear.  It was a nasty virus, that gave me laryngitis for 3 days (early Christmas gift to DJ), but knocked Marianna out with fever, runny nose, cough, and a really bad tummy ache!  Two days before Christmas it looks like there is much improvement, but she is still not 100%.  I am sure it is nothing that a huge pile of presents from Santa can't cure though ;-)

Daniella's Winter Recital

Daniella takes ballet with Ms. Jen every Monday so before Christmas there was a little "recital" which i posted about but here are some more pictures that I have edited through from my camera.  It was so cute and Daniella who loves anything and everything to do with ballet, was so proud!  So were we!

What Is That?!

 Deena is 19 1/2 months right now and communicates so well!

She has been using 2-3 words together like "what is that?!" or her favorite "let's go eat".  She is such a little lap dog, loves to cuddle, get massages, relax with her sisters...while at the same time can be "Deena the Destroyer" so watch your valuables.

Elf on the Shelf Movie Night

After dinner the girls snuggled up to watch the Elf on the Shelf.  The best part of having 3 girls:  everything, but especially moments like these!

Fat Lip?

You wouldn't be able to tell by this picture that Deena has one hell of a fat lip!  We were supposed to get some Christmas Cards pictures taken Saturday, to which her doctor (who we were into see today bc of another ear infection!) said it would not be gone by then.  I am missing my photoshop so I was playing around with Picasa touch ups to see if I am going to be able to do this. 
On a different note, I just think this picture of Deena is classic.  I was trying to get her to smile by singing her favorite song "Old McDonald"...and she just wasn't buying it.  Love the expression.  Priceless!
