Big developments in the Becharas house...huge actually! I never thought the day would come when our lil D would be potty trained. It is almost here. All day sunday...only 1 accident. Today, only 1 accident. She is still wearing diapers to nap and bed, and most likely a pull up to school, but we are making great strides to get down to only one in diapers. She is so proud of herself!! (and picked it up a lot better than either DJ and I thought!!) Way to go Lil D (now Big Girl D!!) :-)

The Arrival Of Elphie Caught on Tape!!
Now becomes the impossible task of remembering to change his location every night and a show off between Dj and I to find the best spots and most creative!

Playroom Playtime
Deena is finding all of the 6 month + toys so much more attractive now that she is sitting up and trying to play. I would like to say big sister Daniella is showing her how to play with the "baby toys", but she is too busy trying to take them away from her so she can play with them. I think Daniella finds that leading by example is the best way to teach ;-)
oh boy the "old toys are new again" motto is in full force here in the playroom. Daniella is also obsessed with the magnatiles. Looking through them, calling out the colors, and especially building castles and knocking them down!
This puzzle I got at the mom 2 mom, is also one of her favorites right now!
Strip Peak a Boo...she surprised me when she came out from hiding!
TGIF and I am so thankful to have this lazy morning playing with the kiddo's.

The Thanksgiving Tree
I got this idea from the Today Show this morning and thought it was definately a great one that I would like to start in our house every Thanksgiving season. We cut out leaves out of construction paper and found this branch in our woods. Some pinecones are holding up the tree and on each leaf, is one thing that Marianna is Thankful for this season.
Daniella also wanted to get in on the tree decorating..
Here are few of the things that Marianna is thankful for this season...
The Solar System tops her list :-)
Our Thanksgiving Tree will decorate the dining room table and as we think of more things that we are Thankful for, we will add them to our tree!

2 years going on 6...months!
I was getting ready to Craigslist one of our swings so I had both downstairs. We always joke Marianna is 4 going on 14, well Daniella is 2 going on 6 months!! She couldn't get in the swing fast enough! I wish this was the only instance that something like this happens, but no..its pretty much every baby toy!
Deena is smiling away...So here swing both my babies!!! Happy as can be!
Deena's new thing for the day...everytime I would try to take her picture she would give me this face..

Christmas Decorating 2011
Since our next two weekends are super busy, I thought we would break out the Christmas decorations early and get started. I mentioned this to Marianna early in the week and not surprisingly, she did not let me forget. I was asked every ten minutes from the time we woke up, when we were putting the "laterns" on the Christmas tree. We had a little bump in the road along the way when some of our prelit tree died out, but got it going a little after noon. I love having the tree up so we can enjoy it as long as possible.
I have to say that Marianna put almost all the ornaments on herself and did a great job putting them not just in one part, but all around the tree. Every ornament that was selected was met with such excitement and thoughtfulness on where it should be put on the tree. If you look closely, you will see Sparty in front...and anyone that comes to the house will now be asked to play "where's the pickle?"..(you have to come over to find out!!)
Daniella was still a bit young for this activity, but put a few of the Elmo ornaments up...
We cannot wait for the season to start!!
