Marianna Zoolander

I will take total responsiblity if Marianna develops into some sort of Zoolander because of my developing camera/photography addiction. I think it may be too late, though.

I love the sunny days because I can take pictures without the flash going off and it captures some more natural moments. I totally have spring fever though...today,we took advantage of the sun and got out for a little walk :)

Here are some pictures in the playroom this afternoon. Marianna loves a horsey ride, although you wouldn't have guessed by the picture. If you stop when she isn't ready to, she will give a little shake-shake-giddy-up to keep the rocking going...pretty funny!

Behind Bars...you would think that Marianna would hate to be locked in the playroom and denied freedom to the house. However, she loves going over to the gate to see how hard she can shake it..something to do to get our attention i guess..

Again in the bookcase! Everytime we open the bookcase for Marianna to play with her toys...she climbs in :)

Where's Marianna?

Marianna has always had a "silent laugh"...she is really smiley, squeaks and squeels, but rarely "belly" laughs or giggles. It was so fun to play this game peak a boo to hear her laugh!

Home Again, Home Again!

I am so happy to be back home after a long week in Chicago (actually it was only 3 days, but i like to be dramatic!)
I think the most fun part about traveling for work is coming home! I was so excited to break out the new toys I bought for Marianna on my trip. Here she is checking out (very intensely) her new tamboreen, dancing alligator, and Haba toys. I missed her so much!!

WASTED!

Grandpa came over to stay the night while I was in Chicago for work. Here I think Marianna (the drunk driver) had one too many bottles of formula and couldn't stay awake behind the wheel. Guess who will never be the designated driver...or the life of the party...

My Cousin Maria and Me

Last weekend, my cousin Maria came over to play with me and I had so much fun! We played, read books, and she drove my around the house in my car!

What Was Old Is New Again...to Marianna

I had mentioned earlier we have not used this vibrating/rocking chair in a long time. After putting it away for a while, we put it back in the playroom. Marianna has fallen in love with the chair all over again, but now it is like a jungle gym. She does sit for a little while in it and watch a baby einstein, but she loves to crawl up on it, make it rock, or play with the toys while cruising.

No Smiles When She Drives.

Driving is a big responsiblity that Marianna takes very seriously.
